I wrote this the morning after we arrived in Scotland, but didn’t get around to posting it. Then I thought why let a good rant go to waste. Written August 31, 2007 at 6:45 am.

Don't tell anyone, but it is Dragonfly's Birthday today...

If I seem more distracted than usual, that isn’t too surprising. The funny thing is that I’ve been in a really good mood despite everything else. So for the record…

Work - busy, but good.
House - still for sale, had an open house on Saturday, had good response, still waiting for an offer
Health - I’m feeling fine, went to the doctor for a check up, apparently got some odd results, as she sent me to have other tests, but I have no idea what about the first set were odd. I go back in to see her on Friday. Hopefully I’ll get some type of answer or than “I’m weird”…

I really miss being able to go to the doctor and have all the necessary "tests" run in their office. I have another set of tests this afternoon. My doctor assures me that she's just being extra careful, but I'll be glad when she happy with the results. All the results are supposed to be in on Friday when I go back to see her. If the medical profession really wants us to take better care of ourselves, they should perform all these tests on teenagers so they have some incentive to to avoid them later...
