It was a full day running between Glasgow and Edinburgh. We started out a little late, but a hearty breakfast stood us well the rest of the day.

A short visit to an acropuncturist, then off to explore St.Mugos Cathedral in Glasgow. Many pictures later, we headed out of Glasgow to Edinburgh. Thus began the great gas/petrol station search. Turns out Wal*Mart has made it here under another name. Anyway the girls got directions and we continued.

St. Bernard's Well was cool. That wa one of the few places specificly wanted to see in the area. I took a ton of pictures today. The cathedral, well, then fireworks over Edinbourgh.

Saw the Roslyn Chapel today. I wasn't very impressed with those who seem to be running it, but the people there in prayer seemed sincere.

I'm still okay with limited internet access. The other three are making arrangements for their dosages.

Tomorrow morning we head from the west coast of Scotland. Earlier in the week we went wading in the North Sea, so this will be a 2 coast vacation. If I get up early enough, I may try to climb the "hill" behind our cottage before we leave.

When I get home, I'll be giving back the BlackBerry to Verizon. While I've liked some things about it, I was disappointed in it over the weekend and Monday. It lost connectivity on the trip to Oban and never got it back on its own (like it is supposed to do). The kicker is that it didn't let me know that it was out of touch. Luckily I don't think I missed anything.

It has been fun (more on that later), but I'm ready to be home.

After almost 24 hours awake and most of that time in a car or on a plane, I make it home last night thanks to ShaeSin & Beau. The cats are demanding attention. They left a few surprises to indicate their displeasure with me being gone so long. Hopefully no one wants to see the house today, as I'd rather stay home all day.

Did anyone catch the name of the plane that hit me? I was so tired yesterday that I was barely able to move. I ended up spending the day sorting email and catching up on conference calls from the living room. I expected to be dealing with jet lag, but not after a four day delay.

I've almost finished uploading the pictures from Scotland. Once I get them sorted into somewhat reasonable groups, I'll enable them in the gallery for general viewing. There is one set of pictures that I hope I'm able to get uploaded. I'm not sure if the disk got scratched, but I am hoping that I'll be able to get them, as there are some really good pictures of the stonework on Iona.

I'm hoping to have all the pictures done and available this weekend. I'm also hoping that the jet lag will have subsided enough that I can actual enjoy some of the Scotch I brought home without going immediately to sleep.

Has it really be a year already? It has been wonderful to see you both so happy. May you have many more happy years together.
