My manager gave me the day off as a "good job" for a project we just finished at work. I had a plan for the day, it was pretty simple. Get up, make a list and then check things off as I get them done.

Feed cats - check
Clean litter box - check
Breakfast - check
Read - check
Update book list - check
Dishes - check
Sort mail - check
Shred - check
Balance checking account - check
Pay bills - check
Re-balance 401k investments- check
Email - check
Email DrG - check
Get w/ J - check
Change air filters - half check (the store didn't have both sizes)
Go to bank - check
Trash - check
Ion appointment - check
Pick up supplements - check
Vacuum - check
Lunch - check
Dinner - plans are in place

So that's the what I done so far with my day off.

To me the notion of "Mother commits assault with a minor" would be a case where mom had the kid with her when she committed assault. I'm not sure what could possess anyone to use a 4-week-old child as a bat. The story on CNN
