For the annual leaf complaint - the trees in my yard should learn to clean up after themselves.

Work stuff is wrapping up for the year. That seems odd to say only 3 days into the month, but it is December and I didn't use much vacation during the year.

Serious note - my grandma fell this morning and will be having her hip replaced tomorrow.

Today is about wrapping things up -
- Last day of work for the year
- Closing the refinance on my house
- Fight club mode finished

Today is about starting things -
- Payday! (extra good because there was a bonus in my check)
- Time to replace the TV that has been going bad for 3 months
- Planning what to do before going up to Ohio
- Maybe pick up the cat tree I’ve had my eye on for the critters
- Christmas shopping for the last of my list
- Catching up on Email

My cats stayed at home this trip, but I have the company of my sister's two cats and my dad's dog, so the four legged furry critters are represented.

Thanks to the Commonwealth of Virginia, the drive home took 5 hours longer than it should. Although tired as all heck, I'm home in one piece. More much later, after I sleep.

It would appear that trips home bring interesting realizations. This time brought the understanding that I'm not the only one to test the family to see if I'm actually seen. It makes me wonder if this is something common to people with multiple siblings or if it is specific to us.
