I had an awesome week last week. I got promoted at work this week! Fancy new title and everything, I thought that I was going to have to wait until next year before I had a real chance of it happening, since they are generally tight about promoting to this level and there are a lot of people for whom a case could be made that "they have been waiting longer"...
I'm looking forward to Rugrat coming down on Thursday. Once she gets here, I may even be able to get the lawn cut (joking). I should probably call my insurance company and make sure that my car insurance is maxed out. I'm not sure how I feel about her driving my car, 16 and a convertible don't seem like the best combination...
I'm not sure if this counts as a fortune, but the basic idea came out of a cookie and I definitely agree with this one...
Ponder that the next time someone wants to discuss why it is a good idea to have teachers' pay tied to how well their students perform on end of grade tests.
